Some questions Mr. Savas plans to speak about:
About Ted Savas
Ted Savas has been in the publishing business for decades and has seen the industry from all angles: as author, editor, publisher, agent, and consultant. He is an award-winning author in his own right and has been a witness to the changing landscape of publishing over the years.
“The world of book publishing is fascinating and changing rapidly. I’m lucky that my passion is also how I make my daily living,” says Mr. Savas, now Managing Director of Savas Beatie.
Mr. Savas is a returning guest speaker addressing the library’s writing group, The Writers Bloc,
which invites publishing professions to give their insights into the publishing world. “I’m looking forward to speaking to writers and book enthusiasts at the Placerville Library and explaining the ins-and-outs of book publishing from both a writer’s and publisher’s perspective,” Mr. Savas adds.
“His knowledge about the industry and generosity with his time are invaluable,” Jen Garrett, facilitator at The Writers Bloc says about Ted Savas. “We’re excited to have him speak to us.”
Savas Beatie LLC is a leading military and general history publishing company located in El Dorado Hills. Since 2004, Savas Beatie has been publishing ground-breaking and award-winning titles.
