This is another post of the A to Z Challenge. My two-fold theme is ABC Books - one that others have written and installments of my own. Catch up on past posts, or enjoy today's -
This book is too cute to pass up! It teaches the alphabet using onomatopoeia. If you don’t know what that is, my tangent today will enlighten you. Or you can get a clue from the book trailer. In any case, I highly recommend this book!
And now, let’s get on to the next installment of THE GREAT ALPHABET DISASTER…
R was Running to and fro in a one-letter Riot.
“Ridiculous,” R raged, “Rash Rotten Rubbish Ruined my Rainbow!”
“Calm down,” C demanded.
“Be reasonable!” B added with an r word.
“Reasonable?” R repeated, self-righteously, “Rest your peepers on my Rainbow, and you’ll Realize why I’m Raging.”
Suddenly A realized. “Who Assaulted your rainbow?”
“Right!” R replied, “Some Reckless Rascal Radically Ruined my Rainbow.”
“Any Clues?” C requested hopefully.
“Really, C?” B reprimanded, “There’s a rip in R’s Rainbow, and you rail him for clues?”
B’s words sent R into another rage, “How can you Rail me when my Rainbow is Ruined?”
C recoiled. “I Cannot Confirm nor deny...”
“I Assure you, nobody's Attempting to rail you.” A said to R, rushing B and C away from the ranting R and right onto the next page. Of course, C resisted A's pushing while she drew the ripped rainbow in her notepad.
Read tomorrow for more adventure…
I write about, with, for, and around kids all day. (Well, maybe I do the dishes too. Sometimes.)
