On the "Reckless Indulgence" blog, there's a challenge going on. I chose option number 2... with kidlit books.
This week's pick is another monster book.
This book is definitely Halloweenish fun for the youngest celebrators. You know, the ones who conk out at 7:00p after trick-or-treating up half of one street? Yep, here's a bedtime story to finish off their little candy-filled holiday.
This blog post is already longer than actual text of the book (I didn't word-count, but it feels like that), so I wanted to find a book trailer for you do get a better feel for this fun picture book. But I can't. Seems there is no trailer to show. The closest thing I could find was a demonstration by the author/illustrator David Ezra Stein...
I write about, with, for, and around kids all day. (Well, maybe I do the dishes too. Sometimes.)
