For my last Hauntoberfest book I've chosen a chapter book...
by Stan Kirby
I love that the villain in this book is a house. How many of us wouldn't trick-or-treat at THAT house because it's haunted/spooky/scary/creepy? Or because it's next door to THAT house?
But Captain Awesome is fearless... well, maybe not, but
He is MI-TEE and faces his fears head on. That's why I like this book, and this series. Fun conflicts, fun characters, and fun all around.
Now I'm going to keep this post short because I've got a lot of Halloween fun to get ready for. But before I go, if you haven't read the Captain Awesome series... I suggest starting at book number 1.
I write about, with, for, and around kids all day. (Well, maybe I do the dishes too. Sometimes.)
