No, I didn't get an agent.
But almost as good...
I got faved on #PitMad.
Twice by agents.
(And Twice by authors who thought my pitch was awesome)
(And NO bot faves!)
One agent was so excited, she faved two of my pitches during the event!
Guess she really wants my book.
Now that's good news.
More Good News!
No, not an agent! (Will you quit guessing that?)
I got positive feedback from the judges on PitchSlam. Words like "love the voice" "love the premise" and "only minor questions" - but they are things explained in the next paragraphs of the same chapter, so I'm not worried about them.
Rejection Bingo Update
Allow me to switch from this breaking news to give you less exciting news: No new rejections to report.
But that's OK.
I'd still call this month a success.
(TWO AGENTS! Strong feedback! Still geeking out over here.)
Anyway, there's a great dose of "Keep Submitting" from my friend on Sub it Club that I hope you'll check out while I go happy dance some more.
I write about, with, for, and around kids all day. (Well, maybe I do the dishes too. Sometimes.)
